As Lettings Director, it’s my job to reinforce HYPE Lettings as one of the most trusted Letting Agents in Stoke-on-Trent.

Hence, I make sure everything runs smoothly, and our landlords and tenants are happy, and up-to-speed.

Perhaps most crucially, I make sure that Pieter isn’t eating too much chocolate. He hasn’t earned the nickname ‘Dairy Milk’ for no good reason.

When I’m not at work, I love to spend time with my family. I also enjoy playing tennis, doing Pilates and HIIT workouts.

Any spare time other than that, I like to bake and, of course, upcycle whatever I can!

Coming from a background in sport and teaching, I know how to overcome barriers, be mentally strong, and push myself to the limit. I also know how to get the very best out of myself and others.

It may not seem like a natural progression to go from being a maths teacher to heading a property management company, but there are definite parallels. Both require the ability to form strong and lasting relationships. Both require attention to detail and a need to constantly bring your A-game. And, perhaps most importantly, both require a desire for constant improvement.

That’s why I co-founded HYPE Lettings. To help people. To make things better. And to make a lasting positive difference.

I want to use my experience and knowledge to help ambitious property investors and landlords achieve their dream and ultimately lead a stress-free life.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I came to the UK in 2019 (just before the world was struck with COVID-19). Seems like forever ago!

I’m the Admin Assistant for the Lettings Team. That means I dot the i’s, cross the t’s and make sure things are in the right place.

My other day-to-day duties involve keeping Pieter in check and an occasional floss dance around the office. It’s what screen breaks are for!

When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my hubby, Gavin and my Pekingese, Gizmo.

One of them does have the capacity to turn into a gremlin if you feed them after midnight. But I’m not saying which.

I’m the Operations Manager for the Maintenance Department at Hype Lettings, proudly running the show all the way from the Western Cape of South Africa. People often wonder how I manage to keep everything on track from such a distance. My answer? They don’t call me Magic for nothing! (Seriously, it’s either that or my internet connection deserves a medal.)

Armed with a talent for untangling chaos, a lot of organization, and maybe just a dash of actual wizardry, I keep the maintenance wheels turning without too many squeaks or unexpected explosions. When I’m not busy working my magic, I’m a proud mom of two kids, a wife, and an expert juggler of life’s many hats. You’ll probably find me enjoying the sunshine, reading books that aren’t on a screen, soaking up the Cape’s breathtaking scenery—and occasionally conducting very thorough research at the local wine tastings (all in the name of science, of course).
